Healing Our Church

Parish-Wide Initiative

Healing Our Church, a small-group program from RENEW, helps Catholic adults express their feelings about the crises of sexual-abuse by clergy and the coverup, process those feelings, and claim their rightful place in the healing and renewal of the Church. A companion faith-sharing book, Sanando Nuestra Iglesia, is available for Spanish-speaking participants. The program was introduced in the Diocese of Allentown, with 88 percent of the parishes electing to participate.

The RASKOB Foundation recognized the importance of our work with a $30,000 challenge grant in support of Healing Our Church. Donors matched the grant dollar for dollar.
