It's time to do RENEW
In the Light of Justice
Take responsibility for the Gospel. Rooted in Catholic Social Teaching, In the Light of Justice invites communities to gather, pray, and act—forming missionary disciples for justice in today’s world.
Pope Leo XIV challenges us to face the moral and spiritual questions of our age, such as artificial intelligence, economic inequality, and care for creation – with courage, compassion, and clarity. Just as Pope Leo XIII confronted the upheaval of the Industrial Revolution, Leo XIV calls us to bring Catholic Social Teaching to the forefront in this new era.
RENEW has heard that call and In the Light of Justice is our response. Developed by RENEW International, this process helps parishes embody the Gospel call to justice, dignity, and solidarity. Small faith communities gather to pray, reflect, and act, bringing new life to the parish and to the world.

How it Works
The process is simple, Spirit-filled, and transformative.
RENEW helps you invite and train volunteers to run the process and facilitate the small groups. (To learn more about how the process works, visit click HERE.)
Then, your community is called to:
Gather in small groups that foster trust and belonging.
Pray together, grounding justice in the Word and sacraments.
Learn & discuss Catholic Social Teaching and how it applies to real issues.
Reflect on how the Gospel calls us to act with compassion and courage.
It’s a cycle of renewal that keeps faith alive and growing.
