Canonical Status
On October 29, 2002 Archbishop John J. Myers, J.C.D, D.D., of Newark presented RENEW International with a Decree of Recognition officially recognizing RENEW International as a "private association of the faithful" under Canon Law of the Roman Catholic Church. The Decree further states that, "The statutes of RENEW International have been reviewed and they are found to be in proper order."
