Connections at Congresses!
“Make new friends, but keep the old” could be the saying for RENEW’s recent experiences at two high-profile Catholic conferences. The Mid-Atlantic Congress in Baltimore was all about new friendships—and the New Evangelization. Sr. Terry Rickard, OP, delivered the opening keynote address on Feb. 27 to more than 1,500 attendees on the theme “Evangelization Matters.” Pastoral leaders in attendance then flocked to the RENEW workshops led by Sr. Terry, Sr. Marie Cooper, SJC, and Manuel Hernandez, and many stopped by our booth to learn more about the pastoral resources we offer to help parishes become evangelizing faith communities.
