Christopher Burns
Publications and Resources Team
Chris served for a decade as Associate Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry in the Metuchen Diocese. He has a BA in English/Writing from Kean University and an MA in Pastoral Administration from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. Chris serves on the parish pastoral council at St. James the Apostle Parish in Springfield, NJ, and on the Vocations Advisory Board of the Sisters of Charity of St. Elizabeth in Convent Station, NJ.
Leslie (Les) Thomas Maiman, Jr.
Diocesan Development Director
Les serves as special advocate for the mission dioceses of the United States. His extensive ecclesial experience includes 17 years of ministry with the Diocese of San Angelo (Texas) as Chancellor, Diocesan Fiscal Officer, and Retreat Center Director. Les holds an MTS in Theology from the University of Dallas, an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin, and is presently a fourth year doctoral candidate at Catholic University of America.
Sr. Mary C. McGuinness, OP
Publications and Resources Team
Mary is a Dominican Sister of Caldwell, NJ. She has co-authored Small Christian Communities: A Vision of Hope for the 21st Century and three faith-sharing publications for small communities. Sr. Mary holds an MS in Library Science from Villanova University and an MA in Theology from St. John’s University, Collegeville, MN. She has served as teacher, librarian, Coordinator of Services to Parish and Deanery Councils, Staff Person to the Archdiocesan Pastoral Council, and Pastoral Associate.
Richard Michalowski
Controller
Before coming to RENEW International, Rich worked for large, multinational financial companies, including Deutsche Bank and American Express Co. in various controllership positions. He is a CPA in the State of New Jersey and earned an MBA in Finance from New York University.
Margarita Morales
Associate Director of Development
Margarita plans and helps to execute RENEW’s special events, assists in the areas of major gift planning, direct mail, major donor cultivation, foundation research, and proposal development. Ms. Morales holds a BS in International Relations and an MA in Diplomacy. She has instructed economically/educationally disadvantaged students in Analytical Thinking courses at Seton Hall University and has been an advocate for victims of human trafficking, refugee families, and asylum seekers.
