How it Works
There are four essential components necessary for a successful RENEW Theology on Tap program: building a strong core community, invitation, hospitality, and follow-up.
Creating a strong core community will lay the foundation for solid and sustainable Theology on Tap events, while promoting community between the young adults. Invitation strategies will allow the group to successfully invite a wide range of young adults to events. Hospitality allows for not only an enjoyable event, but provides the key link to further involvement and engagement by the young adults in the community. Follow-up gives concrete strategies for involving young adults more fully in the Church through small communities, retreats, service work, and other opportunities. These components help create a successful Theology on Tap program, which will help lay the groundwork for creating a more sustainable and comprehensive young adult ministry.
RENEW International offers both a comprehensive and basic level of service to parishes and dioceses around the country to create a successful young adult ministry. Any parish or group wishing to use RENEW Theology on Tap needs to register for at least the basic level of service.
Our goal is to help you create a sustainable and comprehensive model for ministry designed to meet and engage young Catholic adults wherever they are in their faith journeys.
RENEW Theology on Tap – Comprehensive Approach
Invite RENEW into your parish or diocese to guide and assist the process of finding and training young adult leaders, forming the core community in the four essential elements for a successful young adult ministry, and raising awareness and support for this ministry. RENEW Theology on Tap offers a comprehensive parish-centered initiative designed to jump start and/or expand young adult ministry in your area.

RENEW offers parishes and dioceses ongoing support and assistance to answer questions and fill needs as they arise. RENEW Theology on Tap – Basic Approach
This basic level offers all the quality resources and tools parishes and dioceses need to run RENEW Theology on Tap on a local stand-alone level. This includes the license for the use of the RENEW Theology on Tap name, logo, and materials, as well as the pastoring services of the RENEW Young Adult Ministries team. All parishes and dioceses involved in RENEW Theology on Tap are required to register to obtain this license; the registration fee includes access to the website which offers:
